Blonde Haircare Routine

Wash Day

Every 2 -3 days

Washing your hair every day may seem like the ultimate cleanliness goal, but hold your shampoo and conditioner just a second! Here are some reasons to reconsider this daily ritual.

Natural Oils Are Your Friends

Your scalp produces natural oils called sebum, which help keep your hair moisturized and healthy. Over-washing strips away these essential oils, leaving your hair dry, brittle, and prone to breakage.

My Guide for taking care of your blonde outside of the salon

Once you step out of my chair it’s up to you to maintain the health of your hair. Why? Because after the bleaching process your hair turns to its most fragile state, it strips away natural oils and moisture. Not only does proper care help restore moisture, but it also protects against breakage, fading, and the dreaded frizz.

Tip: Don’t forget about regular trims! Snipping those split ends is like giving your hair a mini spa day and keeping it looking fresh

Purple shampoo

How to Use

  1. Wet Your Hair

  2. Apply Shampoo
Squeeze a quarter-sized amount of purple shampoo into your palm. Use more for longer hair, but remember: a little goes a long way!

  3. Lather Up
Massage the shampoo into your scalp and hair, working through the lengths. Don’t be shy— The goal here is to blend evenly throughout.

  4. Wait for It
Let the purple shampoo sit for 3 to 5 minutes, depending on how brassy your hair is, feel free to leave it in for an extra minute (but don’t forget to set a timer, or things might get a little too purple).

  5. RINSE!

  6. Condition
Follow up with your favorite conditioner to keep your hair soft and hydrated.
